With schools closed and businesses reducing staff, our community needs us now more than ever. Many working families find themselves needing or services for the first time, and those who have needed us in the past find themselves needing us even more.
Most children in South Georgia rely on free/reduced breakfast and lunch for the bulk of their nutrition each day. Since school closures have been announced, we have coordinated with many area school systems to make sure that children are not going without meals.We are packing and distributing thousand of emergency pantry boxes across the area. Our response efforts are continuing to evolve as this situation unfolds.
